The Lopas series by Carlo Moretti represents the purest expression of modern Murano craftsmanship: bold color contrasts, perfectly balanced proportions, and a glassblowing technique that demands absolute precision. About Carlo Moretti (1934–2008)

Carlo Moretti founded his Murano glass studio in 1958 together with his brother Giovanni. Unlike many traditional Murano ateliers, the Moretti studio positioned itself at the intersection of design, art, and industrial precision. The brand quickly became known for its clean lines, asymmetrical forms, and innovative color work, often taking inspiration from modern architecture and Scandinavian minimalism.

Moretti was not only a master glassblower but also a designer and visionary entrepreneur. Today, the company is considered one of the most innovative on Murano, and many of Carlo Moretti’s series—Lopas among them—are regarded as modern classics. Production continues in limited, curated editions, with each piece inspected, finished, and signed within the Murano workshop.
